About

I have worked in the fields of mental health and substance use counseling for more than 30 years. My experience includes work with adults, children and their caregivers, and adolescents. I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups as I provide counseling for a broad array of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma recovery, family discord, adolescent development, substance abuse and grief. You can expect compassionate listening, and active conversation. I find that beginning counseling with a commitment of 3-6 initial sessions often keeps the process from feeling overwhelming, and helps us focus on your goals. How often we meet, and over what period of time will be part of our conversations. I typically blend several evidence based practices so that my approach is individualized.
